I just want to know if there are any workarounds or 3rd party programs I can get to make it possible to record my Headset and Stereo mix at the same time. ensure steroe mix is NOT set as default playback device, ensure your speakers ARE set as the default playback device. Also the game recording program FRAPS can record my headset and my Win7 audio, which must mean its possible to record the two outside of FRAPS. select stereo mix and choose properties button in bottom right (new window opens) listen tab > playback through this device drop down list. I've come to the conclusion that my sound card cant record two audio inputs, but that doesn't make sense since I could do it with the USB microphone. I can mess with settings and make the stereo mix available while the headset is plugged in, but then the mic becomes 'currently unavailable' Before I used the headset, I used a USB microphone, which I could get to work with stereo mix if I used Virtual Audio Cable audio repeaters but I can't do this with the headset.
